The Building & Development Committee closely follows Hutchinson Island developer projects as they work through the various SLC departments, with attention to any requests for special considerations or zoning variances to (Hutchinson Island Residential District) HIRD. Of particular concern lately has been requests for height variances.

- East of A1A – Regency south to MC line Zone A (up to 125’) subject to setback and other requirements.
- West of A1A and East of A1A between Dune Walk Condominiums south to Regency Zone B (35’).
